Heyo!

My name is Damir, the resident bass head @ Funhouse! The DMIR project was something that started out after years of picking cheesy "DJ" names, lacking a sense of direction, and a case of miscommunication all came together. Since then, it's been my passion project that's led me to be a part of this wonderful team.

For now, the project's goal is to combine all my various loves of music from: classic rock, jazz, hip hop, folk tunes, classical, and everything in between - I want to find a way to blend the sound I grew up listening to with the shake and feel of bass music. Will it all work? Who knows!?! But the only way to find out is if you stick around!

My name is Beau, just another person in this wonderful place we call Earth or BeauofEarth. I’ve worn many hats for us as a collective since the very beginning, including DJing, driving, venue/location management, outreach, booking, and running our social media. Currently, I still manage a large portion of our Instagram with our growing media team, handle outreach and booking for artists, and continue to be one of our resident DJs.

I’ve been DJing for almost two and a half years now, spinning from my own bedroom to the dark, hidden corners of the city. I’ve developed a deep love for all things jazzy, groovy, soulful, and downright funky, which fuels my admiration for old-school House music and Disco. This passion for underground, forgotten, and still-loved House music inspired me to pick up a set of turntables and start spinning vinyl like the OG’s of the past have…

Hey folks!! My name is Johnny, but I go by JIN when I'm DJing! I'm mostly involved in the event planning side of things - I set up the Funhouse Cabaret series, and hopefully a few more events are gonna come our way!

I've been DJing for a year and a half, with the first year mostly being conventional nightlife. I've played in a good number of the city's major clubs: Fortune, Aura, Belmont, Isabelle's, and The Pit; but these gigs didn't really resonate with me. They weren't a creative outlet where I could freely express my music taste, and I realized that collectives like Funhouse had way more intimate and friendly communities.

These days, I'm helping to throw some funky and unique events with the team here, so stay tuned to see what we have cooking up!!
